Hollywood Racks Destination 4 Bike Platform Rack Review - 2023 Thor Challenger Motorhome- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here taking a look at our Hollywood Racks Destination four bike carrier on the back of our 2023 Thor Challenger. So the Destination is a four bike carrier that is a frame mount, so it's gonna make contact with the frame of your vehicle. Specifically looking at the Thor Challenger, I would only suggest using this guy if you're going to use a hitch extender because of how close your bike comes to your carrier. I mean how close your bike comes to your vehicle. It like physically right here with my bike here, my handlebars are making contact. Again, with it being a frame mount carrier and making contact with your the frame of your bike, it wouldn't be the best option if you have a unconventional frame or a carbon fiber bike, you know, that's just not what you're gonna hunt for. more

Saris MHS 2 Bike Rack Review - 2023 Thor Challenger Motorhome- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at our Saris MHS on the back of the 2023 Thor Challenger. So the MHS is a wheel mounted carrier, and so what that does for you, it actually secures your bike without making any contact to your frame. You have two cradles that are gonna ratchet down over your wheels and you have a single strap that holds your rear wheel in place. There's also a built in chalk to help secure your bike. So overall, if you have a type of bike, like I would say maybe a step through bike or a carbon fiber frame bike, a carrier like this would be the best option for you due to the fact that it makes no contact. So as you see, we are super close on the outside cradle and I wouldn't think it would be possible for most cases to fit a second bike in and still clear the vehicle, 'cause I would say we're maybe about six inches away from there with our bike. more

When going on a family trip, it's nice to have everyone in the RV together and being able to go do things. Now sometimes you're limited by bringing your actual accessories or bikes, in this instance. Hi, everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. And today, we'll be taking a look at our Yakima OnRamp electric bike rack right here on our 2020 Thor Coleman motor home. So this is an awesome bike rack for if you have your electric bikes or extra heavy bikes or even your bikes with kinda awkward frame sizing. Especially if you have your Coleman motor home here, your options could be limited for bike racks as well as anything that can carry your bikes just because there's gonna be a little bit more vibration, more sway behind your motor home and normal bike racks can't handle that. So that's where the Yakima OnRamp comes in handy. It's really good for if you have a motor home like this, because not only does it have the weight capacity for your heavy electric bikes, but it also has a ramp which makes it easier to mount and dismount your bikes. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Thor Four Winds Motorhome we're gonna be test fitting Thule's T2 Pro XTV Bike Rack. This comes in a 2 bike platform rack with part number TH9034XT, and a 4 bike platform rack with part number TH9034XT-9036XT. This is a high quality premium bike rack that's gonna be RV rated, so it'll work with your motorhome. It'll hold your bikes with no frame contact. This is particularly nice if you have carbon fiber bikes and you're worried about any damage that may occur with a framed contact bike system.It connects in the back using a ratcheting strap on your rear wheel. In the front it has a wheel cradle to hold the wheel, and a ratcheting arm that locks the wheel in place. more

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Thor Four Winds Motorhome, we're going to be test fitting Thule T2 Classic two Bike Rack, part number TH9044. You can also get this in a four bike platform rack, with part number TH9044-TH9046.This platform style bike rack is going to be RV-approved, and allow you to carry two bikes on the back of your motorhome without having any frame contact. Your bike will sit on top of the rack, here in the back it'll have a cradle with a ratcheting strap that'll hold it in.And here in the front, your bike's held secure with an arm that goes over your wheel, so there's no contact with the frame. Your front wheel sits in this cradle here, and it has various slots that allow for different sized bikes. The small slot that we're in now is for our road racing bikes. It also gets wider for dirt bikes, and extremely wide for fat bikes, up to five inch tires.Your rear cradle can be adjusted rearward or forward to adjust for varying length bikes. more
